….of Queen & country & endings…

…”Operation London: The secret plan for the days after the Queen’s death”…”Britain has shown France how to leave the EU”…

So much for secret! Indeed “she is venerated around the world. She has outlasted 12 US presidents. She stands for stability and order. But her kingdom is in turmoil, and her subjects are in denial that her reign will ever end. That’s why the palace has a plan.”

Hmmm…..can’t imagine what it’s like to have such things written about oneself and to possibly read it. Life’s harsh realities among pomp and circumstance.

God save/bless our Queen!

One can’t help but wonder if the dismantlement of Europe is about to be kickstarted.  What’s happened to the idea that together things can be much better for all than just ‘the sum of its parts’?!…

One hopes ‘the pause button’ can be hit, while a proactive rather than reactionary discernment of ‘what are we doing?’ can be undertaken that will assess beyond the legalities & politicos & accentuate humanity and economic and ‘human’ prosperity!

The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be the beginning. ~Ivy Baker Priest

Not to understand a treasure’s worth till time has stole away the slighted good, is cause of half the poverty we feel, and makes the world the wilderness it is. ~William Cowper

You’re searching…
For things that don’t exist; I mean beginnings.
Ends and beginnings — there are no such things.
There are only middles.
~Robert Frost, Mountain Interval, “In the Home Stretch”

Cheers to a ‘middle of the road’ kinda Thursday that sings—‘everything in moderation’ !!!
