…”Manic Monday for commuters in London UK tube strike: all lines hit and most central London stations closed”…”Research suggests office workers can pay $120. on tea and coffee every year”…”USA: National Cassoulet Day”…
It seems massive travel disruptions are the order of the day in central London as the ‘tube strike’ has many walking & driving causing massive gridlock. Trains continue to run into the city however some of them are set to go on strike tomorrow, adding to the chaos.
Wonder how that stat jives with Starbucks figures as it seems a bit light to me in view of the many I know who have their daily & sometimes more than once daily java fix or time for tea.
Yes, yes it’s National Cassoulet Day in the USA! “Cassoulet is a rich, slow-cooked casserole originating in the south of France, containing meat (typically pork, sausages, goose, duck and sometimes mutton), pork skin (couennes) and white beans (haricots blancs).”
Cheers to a marvellous Monday that sings—in the stop & go of your day, make time for tea/java & comfort food!
