…”Vancouver tops list of ‘bubble’ cities on global real estate risk ranking”…”If logic had anything to do with the U.S. election, it would not be such a close race”…”Wild camping: share your stories and photos”…
The folks who study such things, say that British Columbia’s recently introduced foreign buyers tax together with the City of Vancouver’s vacancy tax have “elevated significantly the risk of a substantial price correction” in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Interesting to note that, just behind Vancouver, London, Stockholm, Sydney & Munich are said to be #2-5 on the ‘bubble city‘ list!
Indeed it does seems obvious from the start that “Trump lacks many of the qualities one would logically expect in a President…..qualities like competence, judgment, integrity, decency, stability, understanding of basic principles of constitutional government — and not in the sense of being deficient by the standard of most candidates but deficient by the standards of most Americans.”
And so the campaign continues, defying all logic! God Bless America!
I don’t think that it’s just me, from time to time, that could think, after reading many of the day-to-day headlines, —“I need a getaway!…a getaway from it all!”
A UK newspaper is looking for folks ‘wild camping’ photos & stories! A fine testament to yes in spite of it all we do indeed live in a wonderful world where one can hopefully get a chance to occasionally get away, re-calibrate, rejuvenate, relax & refresh!

Sometimes I long for a lazy camp
Five hundred miles from home,
Where the eagle flies in the clear blue sky
And the grizzly bear does roam,
A snow white peaklike giant stands
In the midst of the tall pine trees,
Away from the constant ring of the phone
For ever calling me…
~J.H. Stallings (b.1874), “Zanjero”
