…of ‘veggie-meat’, symbiosis, & ‘hipsterdom’…

…”As the veggie-meat industry grows, even carnivores are becoming converts”…”French ban on after hours e-mail is first step in the right direction”…”Are you a hipster? Here’s how to tell”…

SOMETHING ABOUT…”Today I tasted the future and it was vegan. This burger was juicy/bloody and had real texture like beef. But more delicious and way better for the planet. I can’t really comprehend its impact quite yet but I think it might change the whole game,” according to a pundit.

The burger will appear in North American restaurants this July. According to the Impossible Foods’ website, a molecule called heme, which naturally occurs in both meat and plants, gives their burgers its “meaty flavour.” Other ingredients include coconut oil and potato protein, as reported in Food & Wine last April.”

SOMETHING ABOUT…”The French government has taken a bold step to limit time spent looking at work e-mails by giving employees the “right to disconnect.” Organizations with more than 50 employees will be obliged to draw up a charter of good conduct, setting out the hours – normally evenings and weekends – when staff are not supposed to send or answer e-mails. This is an attempt to combat the negative effect that modern technology and connectivity is having on people’s ability to switch off from work.”

Cheers to work-life balance that sings–SYMBIOSIS !! May common sense & respectfulness prevail!

SOMETHING ABOUT…”Once you are, there is no going back. Once hipsterdom embraces you or you embrace it, that’s you done: not one weekend of your life will ever not be spent “just popping in” to vintage stores, and you will never be able to resist pulled pork on a pub menu again. Buy a USB record player and accept your fate.”

Cheers to a sunny day in June cool & cold beer that quips–enjoy your ‘craft’!!!
