…”Metro Vancouver lawns welcome rain but reservoirs still dropping”…”Western provinces struggling to find resources to fight wildfires”…
Seems the scattered showers throughout the Lower Mainland on the weekend did little more than get soaked up by the ground and are leaving officials still concerned about the dwindling levels of the region’s water reservoirs.
Meanwhile throughout British Columbia, the number of forest fires that firefighters are having to battle keeps increasing with lightning strikes being the primary cause. Smoke filled skies continue to be endured throughout the Okanagan and points north & eastward.
A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. ~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Flight to Arras, 1942
I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. ~Michelangelo
My alphabet starts with this letter called yuzz. It’s the letter I use to spell yuzz-a-ma-tuzz. You’ll be sort of surprised what there is to be found once you go beyond ‘Z’ and start poking around! ~Dr. Seuss
The Possible’s slow fuse is lit
By the Imagination.
When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don’t state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.
Cheers to a clever summer Monday & week ahead that sings–resourcefulness & smiles—more than you can ask or imagine!
