…of on the road & habits…

…”Would you pass your driver’s test again?: BC reporter finds out it’s harder than you might think”…”Amid fierce competition restaurants go to great lengths to court the coveted regular”…”Fruity hazelnut butter tarts & rich peanut butter pie: peanut will always be king”…

Cheers to on the road’s the rage & FYI….re-testing is a requirement in BC at age 80 to maintain a license! (scary thought, here’s hoping if I live to 80 it can be “home James!” to the diligent chauffeur 🙂 )

It seems, the psst twelve months in Canada has seen a record number of restaurant closures across the country as the trend is for customers to be always seeking ‘different’ culinary experiences. Hence, the savvy restaurateurs “know the importance of fostering loyalty and making regular customers feel special.”

Cheers to creatures of habit that become regulars!!!…

Do you have any Vancouver favourites that you patronize regularly?!…

Apparently, “the peanut is king” but hazelnuts come a close second, according to UK culinary pundits.

Peanut butter pie with pretzel crust and caramel & bittersweet chocolate topping….hmmmm….not so sure about that one!

Whether it be driving, restaurant patronizing or dessert indulging, cheers to a wonderful Wednesday of fine habits!!!

Every grown-up consists wholly of habits, although one is often unaware of it and even denies having any habits at all. ~Georges Gurdjieff

The chains of habit are generally too small to be felt until they are too strong to be broken. ~Samuel Johnson

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. ~Jim Ryun
