…of uphill & downhill…

…”Ontario couple honoured as longest married couple in Canada”…”Whistler Mountain opens 5 days early”…

A tale of Millie, 95, & Clem, 100, tells of dating that began on April Fool’s Day 1934 that saw the couple marry the following November when Millie was all but 15.

The secret to their long marriage, according to Clem,—-he learned to say yes a lot!

“Their bonding continues over a shared love of music and regular performances held at the care home where they now reside together!”

Kudos, cheers & congratulations Millie & Clem!

Our past week’s streak of below average temperatures together with the natural snowfall at higher elevations will see Whistler Mountain open early for skiing this coming Saturday!

Blackcomb will open as originally scheduled on November 27th!

Cheers to hit the slopes should have y’all ‘Whistlin’!!’

A Turkish Proverb says “There’s an uphill for every downhill & a downhill for every uphill”

Whatever the ups & downs of your Wednesday, take comfort knowing:

– it’s all relative!

“To know joy is to know sadness. To know happiness is to know anger and sorrow. To know confidence is to know uncertainty.”

– life’s got rhythm!

Just look at the tides, our moods,…the seasons…

We’ve all lived long enough to know to be grateful for all life’s goodness & when ‘storm clouds’ appear there’s hope always remembering that “the sun comes after rain”!!

Wonderful Wednesday!—freak out-NOT!, on the rollercoaster!
