Vancouver’s beloved Stanley Park miniature train celebrates its 50th birthday this weekend!!

Cheers to the little engine that could that delights adults and children alike with a ride in the forest embellished with haunting at Hallowe’en & wonder at Christmas! Not to be missed!

World Oceans Day tomorrow will see a beach cleanup & celebration happening at Kits beach, films and kids’ activities at the Vancouver Public Library, the Festival of Ocean Films happening at SFU Woodwards, and some interpretive beach walks throughout the city!

Camada’s largest chemisry community conference wraps up today at Coal Harbour’s gleaming in the sunshine convention centre. 2,500+ participants from academia, industry, and government have been no doubt delighting in our city and consulting the conference program agenda timetable periodically too!

Haunts of long ago days of Chemistry 101 for me & the lame tale–did you hear that Oxygen went on a date with Potassium?……apparently it was just OK
