Vancouver’s beloved Police Pipe Band will make history in June, being the 1st non-military band in 350 years to play for Changing of the Guard ceremonies at both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle! A great celebration, two years in the making, for the bands centennial year!…

“The pipe band was formed in 1914, and the police department says it’s the oldest non-military pipe band in British Columbia and the longest continually serving police pipe band in the world.”

Cheers to fine birls in the skirl–“by the right, quick, march!”…& remember—never let your guard down!…

Rendez-vous Canada gets underway today at Vancouver’s convention centre! 1500+ travel professionals gather together for four days to promote and discover unique Canadian experiences!

Cheers to voulez-vous rendez-vous!?!…

And a few thoughts about YOU, from some unknown authors:

You will never influence the world by trying to be like it.

It’s better to walk alone than in a crowd going the wrong direction.

Many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.

Bold enough to use your voice. Brave enough to listen to your heart. Strong enough to live the life you’ve always imagined. Be.

A bird sitting in a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking because her trust is not on the branch but in her own wings. Believe in yourself, always.

I have confidence in sunshine
I have confidence in rain
I have confidence that spring will come again
Besides which you see I have confidence in me

Cheers to an assuredly fearless resolute day that smiles — Y E S !!!
