…of light & dim…

cbcToday will see Canada’s beloved CBC public broadcaster announcing plans for the future after losing significant revenues from the National Hockey League as well as federal government funding cuts.

All good wishes to those facing challenging times of cuts, revamps and new directions!…

A bright spot shines on the 1st annual Yum Cha! Dim Sum Festival that will take place in Toronto this Sunday with “feature interpretations on traditional Cantonese cuisine by high profile Canadian chefs.”

Closer to Vancouver and looking for dim sum adventures, one need only head to Richmond where you’ll find no shortage of specialties of the house! Indulge! Enjoy!

An oxymoron sounding cheer sings—Light up your tastebuds—dim sum!!….

How often have we heard that saying “there’s light at the end of the tunnel” when facing challenging times or situations?…..”When a door closes another one opens”…..”Opportunity knocks”…..

All of these phrases speak of new life…springtime! “In the bulb, there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree; in cocoons, a hidden promise, butterflies will soon be free!”

The forces of nature can be a reminder to us all that after times of heavy clouds and rain, eventually there will always be sunshine!

Sometimes we need to look for it or see it in fresh, untried, unfamiliar ways!

Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn. ~Quoted by Lewis Grizzard in Kathy Sue Loudermilk, I Love You

Opportunity is a bird that never perches. ~Claude McDonald

It is often hard to distinguish between the hard knocks in life and those of opportunity. ~Frederick Phillips

As you seek new opportunity, keep in mind that the sun does not usually reappear on the horizon where last seen. ~Robert Brault

The lure of the distant and the difficult is deceptive. The great opportunity is where you are.”
John Burroughs

Cheers to a seize the day kinda day!

Illuminating! Radiating! Twinkling!
