…one moment please…

Interesting to note that on this date in 1967 the 1st Superbowl NFL game was played; in 1971, George Harrison’s hit “My Sweet Lord” was released; 1974, the hit tv series “Happy Days” began an 11 year run; 1994, Queen Elizabeth II fell off her horse and broke her wrist; & 2009, a US Airways flight made an emergency “landing” into the Hudson River in NYC…..

All in a January 15th day’s trivia……

I’ve always thought it intriguing how professional photographers capture moments in time & what makes photographs award-winning or treasured momentos in family albums preserving some of the emotions felt at a particular place or on a special occasion or a specific event.

Sometimes an eye for simplicity can have a visual impact that’s quite complex….

Beyond the visual, there’s also the auditory & the music of our day & bygone days can somehow capture moments too.  Are there music or songs that are special to you that in your listening, have you recalling and experiencing vividly emotions felt?…

And of course, we have our sense of smell.  As I write this, some apple cinnamon bread is baking in the early morning quiet beckoning freshly brewed coffee to be its accompaniment!…..”life is good!”…

I got the blues thinking of the future, so I left off and made some marmalade. It’s amazing how it cheers one up to shred oranges and scrub the floor.
