Fun to note that London UK’s Dulwich Picture Gallery will mount an Emily Carr exhibition of works curated as –“From The Forest to the Sea” that will run Nov 1-March 8th.

“The exhibition will trace a dramatic trajectory from darkness to light, by one of Canada’s most beloved and esteemed artists, virtually unknown outside Canada.”

Much of the exhibition will come from Victoria’s Royal BC Museum and a one day symposium by Emily Carr scholars will take place Oct 31st, before the official opening.

Cheers to BC artworks among the Rembrandts & the Rubens!

#TGIF smiles the beginning of Canada’s Thanksgiving Long Weekend.

A chance for many to take pause in busy lives & together with family & friends give thanks for life’s abundance.

How often do we take for granted the little things that perhaps most deserve our gratitude?

Cheers to a grateful heart today, this weekend & always!!

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. –Melody Beattie
